Cold, Lazy, & Happy

Nothing like waking up to 25 degree weather and 12 degree wind chills. Lucid thoughts of staying in the warm bed are quickly quashed by the intense crying coming from the baby monitor. Christopher and Aidan are both early risers, and even though it is a Saturday, a 6:00 am wake up call is still the norm. So, the family has been up for 8 hours already (except me, for I was allowed to get an extra hour of sleep today) and the joys and pleasures of having a 5 year old and a 5 month old in the house have already taken it's toll.

Both Lori and I had visions of taking our own nap this afternoon while Aidan was upstairs having his quiet time, but Christopher was having none of that. Oh well, one look at that cute face and all is forgiven.

Aidan will be up in a little while, and so will begin the second part of our day. Oh how I wish that we could just stay around the house, but groceries do not buy themselves, and I believe a trip to Academy Sports and Outdoors has been added to the ever growing to do list.

Well, I will try to throw up a few pictures on here soon. Until then, I hope everyone has a great day.

William

PS. Lori survived here 23 mile run yesterday. Let's all give her a big round of applause. YEAH!!! I am so very proud of her.
