A Season To Remember

Lori made it home from her business trip to New Mexico, and all of us males survived being left "in the wild" for two days. We are all very happy to have Momma home.

Aidan's soccer season came to an end on Saturday, and Lori and I are very proud of him and his accomplishments. He scored 8 more goals on Saturday, and his team won 10-6. Aidan's final totals for the season were as follows:

36 goals made while playing only two of the four quarters of each game.
6 goals allowed during the time that he was in the game.

I don't care what league you are playing in, those stats are phenomenal. Aidan's soccer coach paid him the utmost respect when he shook my hand after the final game and told me Aidan was "A Natural", and that he had never seen a child Aidan's age with so much coordination. We are both just beaming, and it was a season to remember.

Aidan's Tball season continues until mid June, and he is really starting to pick things up. His hitting has improved immensely over the last couple of weeks, and he is swinging with a purpose. We are still working on his catching, but that too is getting better. He is having a great time, and that is all that really matters.

Here is a scan I made of the front and back of Aidan's baseball trading card.
How cool is that? I wish they would have had that type of stuff when I was a kid.

Christopher is getting bigger, and he is starting to pull up on things. I will have some pictures of him up in the next couple of days.
