Ocular Perfidiousness

I was naive, and I thought maybe I was impervious to it's advances. I tried and tried to avoid it at all cost, but my valiant efforts were all for nil, and it's infernal persistence finally got the best of me. Yep, I have been conquered...... whipped you might say by the terrible realization that my eyes no longer function properly at close range, and I am now forced to admit defeat and wear..........................reading glasses. Aghhhhhhh! Nooooooooo.....I'm only 42 years old for Christ's sake!!! HELP!!!!!!

So, here I sit, feverously typing, all the while relying on my new best friends to help me read my prose. Symbiosis at it's finest.
