Angelic Subterfuge

Cold, wet and dreary. That's about all you can say about today. It makes you want to crawl into bed and just sleep. Hopefully, there's sunshine forecast for the near future. Spring cannot get here fast enough.

We've been kind of busy lately, but we got a chance to go down to see my mom and brother last weekend. We had a good time, and it was nice to give mom a great big hug. Her treatments are hard on her, but she is doing well. Like I've said in the past, she is one tough cookie.

It was hard to see mom without any hair. I guess seeing her for 44 years with hair made it a bit tougher. I did not want her to feel alone, so I shaved my head before we went down. Yep I got out the shaver, popped on the ol' number 2 attachment, and off it came. I've got to tell you, now that's it's done, I really like it. I might just have to keep it this way for good. I'm pretty certain mom has other plans for hers.

The kids are all doing great and Lori is as wonderful as ever. Baseball starts back up in one week. Woo Hoo we're looking forward to that. Hopefully it will warm up a bit in the next week. It's much too cold for baseball right now.

Well, got to go, got some things to get done. I will leave you with a picture of our youngest money laying on his inflatable fort. This picture shows you how looks can be deceivable. How you ask? Well, he looks like a little innocent precious angel here, that's how.
